Welcome to my very first post on Have Travel Will Travel!
I’m LeDonna, an avid (mostly) solo traveler in my 30’s who loves going new places and trying new things. This travel blog is many years in the making and I’m hype that I finally took the leap to make it happen.
Traveling wasn’t always a part of my life. Even though Chicago is a main hub of the Midwestern US, I never really did the vacationing thing growing up. It wasn’t until I was in high school that I got the chance to go on an actual vacation. Lucky for me it was to Germany. I went as part of a language exchange program, but I was bitten by the travel bug for the very first time.
Hard.
In the years since then I’ve traveled everywhere from Spain to South Korea and had been wanting to properly document it. Like a lot of things in life I could just never find the time. But the older I get, the more I realize I don’t want to wait around for the ‘right time.’ So here we are!
My goal for this blog is to showcase the many unique cultural experiences I have during my travels in the hopes that they serve as inspiration for other people. If you’re reading this and also have an insatiable curiosity about the world around us then I think you should join me for the ride.
